Felicity Finn, author of the Jeremy series, grew up in rural southern Ontario. She had an early interest in books and imaginary worlds and began writing stories at a young age. Her first published children’s story, The Three Aunties, developed into the popular Jeremy children’s novels (English, French, German, film). She has also written a number of award-winning plays and short stories and is currently working on her first young adult novel.
Felicity studied writing with various Canadian children's authors, and at the Universities of Ottawa, Victoria, and Waterloo. She holds a B.A. in French, B.Ed. in teaching, and a Master of Theological Studies. She taught English to new Canadians and embassy staff in Ottawa, worked as a hospital chaplain and as a registered psychotherapist with twelve years of counselling experience.
She and her husband have lived across Canada from Haida Gwaii to Halifax, but returned to the beautiful countryside of southern Ontario to raise their family.
Felicity enjoys exploring cycling and hiking trails, and developments in literacy, linguistics, mental healthcare, and education.
